Games And Sports
Sports are essential tool for character building. It helps us to gain such virtues like team work, discipline, perseverance and time management. Navyug campus is an active center for games, sports and recreational activities. There is a well maintained playground within the college premises for Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Badminton and athletic event. Modern facilities for physical conditioning are available at the indoor sports gymnasium and we have established an open gymnasium. This is just to get more and more students attracted towards it, make physical fitness, a part of their life style and their leisure time in some productive way, keeping them fit and fine, in spite of burning time on chatting whatsup / Facebook. Both intramural and extramural competition is planned in such a way that students are able to participate regularly in games and sports activities throughout the year. Students showed great enthusiasm in opting sports and games. The college appoints expert coaches and part timer assistant to train students who are raw, talent is identified and honed.

Achievements:
  • Ashita Dhawan won gold medal in taekwondo Asia Cup sports jeetkune –Do Championship held in Mumbai 2013. (Student of BA 2nd year)
  • Sakshi Srivastava won silver medal in state level table tennis championship in 2016-17. And participated two times in All India T-T Inter University tournaments. Soniya Bharti (Black Belt 1st den) participated in International Taekwondo Championship held in Nepal 2012.
  • In last four years 18 student participated in All India Inter University , 16 students in north zone Inter University , 17 students in Senior State level Championship as well as 30 student participated in Open State level championship in different games and sports
  • In last four years approximate 150 students participated in Inter Collegiate competition organized by affiliated colleges of University of Lucknow.
Sports Fest:
Every year college organizes sports fest (Inter University / Inter Collegiate Competition) in the premises of college. In which 20 colleges / University participate and more than 500 players are involved. To incalculable the spirit of healthy competition and to learn to be friendly with our opponents, as well as to appreciate the quality of others, and how to improve in ourselves, congratulating with healthy sprit and to take defeat t in a positive way as in games. When we practice every day we face defeat as well and it gives a lesson to a person that nothing is permanent if we are loser today we can winner tomorrow. That "nothing is permanent" therefore we should our defeat in a sporty way. A person faces challenges and to be bold every circumstance how worst they are. That's why these competitions make positive change in the spirit participant. They prepare the field they don't feel shame in physical labor and this thing makes them tough and strong.

Competitions provide them exposure they can know where they stand. In these competitions number of teams ranges from 20-25, as our record mentions during competitions. They get exposure to the outside world and it develops in them the quality of hospitality as well. College hosts so many teams and bears the responsibility of all the arrangements, invite coaches, referees, umpire, judges, guests as team managers and team participants. Thing manage by students flawlessly. They learn the skill of organizing big events. These entire things make them confident, brave and able to face adverse circumstances in the outsides world.
