NSS
The NSS curriculum was extended to include community development/social service activities. The NSS strives is one of the greatest cohesive forces of the nation, bringing together the youth hailing from different parts of the country and moulding them into united, secular and disciplined citizens of the nation. The camp acts as refresher training for the cadets and they are also trained in basic skills of survival and emergencies besides other topics. Govt. of India adopted NSS as its initiative 24th Sept 1969 to make Youth responsible towards community. The scheme was introduced in College in 1975. Presently there are 5 units of NSS under 5 Programme officers. In each unit 100 hundred volunteers are enrolled every year and total 500 volunteers of NSS in the college. These volunteers participate in one day and seven days camps during their two years tenure. They actively engaged in activities related to social welfare, creating awareness, literacy and many other issues.

There are five units of NSS in our college provide students a platform for personality development by inculcating in them leadership, tolerance, cooperation, service and self-reliance and work for the welfare of society. It also sensitizes them towards social concerns and imparts awareness about social and moral values. Some of the activities under taken by volunteers in recent years are as follows:-
