Power Angel
The Women Power Line 1090 is a dedicated service in Uttar Pradesh, India, to empower women to protect themselves from all forms of harassment and ensure their safety in society. 1090 is a toll-free number that provides immediate help to the harassed women subjected to any antisocial behaviour or any other kind of assistance sought by the victim. This helpline handles the cases of offense against women and ensures speedy protection to women and girls.
With the objective of empowering students and in order to make them feel secured, this initiative was taken up by the Principal & faculty of the college wherein; Many students of the college voluntarily join & serve as Power Angels to help the students to come out with their problems without revealing their identity & act as a bridge between 1090 and students.
Time to time our students have put in their commendable efforts by providing their services in 1090 feedback section for which they have also received certificates of appreciation from the concerned authority.
